Stand Design
Concept to CAD, tuned to your commercial objectives.
Exhibition stand design that starts with your commercial goals - not a template. Concepts, floor plans and build-ready CAD, delivered by senior designers who understand how a stand actually gets manufactured, transported and installed on a show floor.
We approach every stand as a marketing tool with a job to do. Whether that's launching a product, opening conversations with a specific category buyer, or building brand memory across a five-day trade show, our designers work from a written brief and measurable objectives, never a moodboard alone.
Great exhibition stand design isn't about the render, it's about what happens on the show floor. A stand has to be legible at ten metres, engaging at five, and easy to walk into at arm's length. It has to carry your brand credibly, give your commercial team room to actually sell, and survive four days of foot traffic without looking tired by lunchtime on day two.
Our senior designers have years of experience designing stands for major UK and European shows, Syngas, UKIFDA, Exposolidos, Akima, The Furniture Show and dozens more. That show-floor experience shapes every decision, from stand geometry and traffic-flow planning to material choice, lighting angles and how a graphic panel behaves under hall LED at 3pm.
Every design starts with a written brief. We ask what a good show looks like, leads, meetings, launch coverage, category-buyer conversations and design backwards from those objectives. You'll get two or three genuinely considered directions, not ten templated renders, and every line we draw is intended to be manufactured cleanly.

FAQs
Frequently asked.
Everything exhibitors ask us before signing off a stand, costs, lead times, reuse, overseas shows and the sustainability question.
How long does exhibition stand design take?
Typically 2–4 weeks from brief sign-off to approved visuals, depending on stand size, technical complexity and how many stakeholders are involved in approval.
Do you charge for initial concepts?
For qualified projects with a confirmed show date and a genuine budget, initial concepts are included at no charge - we invest our time when you invest yours.
Can you work to our existing brand guidelines?
Always. We treat brand guidelines as the starting point and translate them into three-dimensional space, at exhibition scale, without diluting them.
What size stands do you design?
From 9m² pop-up shell schemes to 400m²+ double-decker builds. Most projects sit in the 18–150m² range.
Do you design for overseas shows?
Yes - we regularly design for shows in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the UAE and the US. Local build rules and hall specifications are baked in from concept.
How much does an exhibition stand cost in the UK?
For UK shows, most custom stands land between £8,000 for a compact 9m² modular scheme and £120,000+ for a bespoke 100m² double-decker build. Cost is driven by floor area, structural complexity, AV integration, storage/reuse strategy and freight - we'll give you a fixed quote against your brief before any design work starts.
How far in advance should we book our exhibition stand designer?
Ideally 4–6 months before your show for a custom build, or 8–12 weeks for a modular/reconfigured stand. Booking earlier locks in better freight rates, reduces rush-fees on print and lets us prototype interactive elements. We do take on shorter turnarounds when capacity allows.
Do you handle stand build, install and dismantle as well as design?
Yes - SRXPO is a design, deliver and build studio. One project manager owns your brief from concept through CAD, structural sign-off, print, on-site install, show-time support and dismantle. You don't hand off between a designer, a contractor and a logistics company.
Can you build stands that we reuse across multiple shows?
That's the default. We engineer for modularity - reconfigurable framework, swappable graphics, flat-pack freight, palletised storage - so your stand works at a 36m² regional show and a 72m² European flagship without a rebuild. Cost-per-show drops sharply after your second event.
Do you work with international exhibitors and overseas shows?
Yes. We regularly deliver into Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the UAE and the US. Local hall regulations (Messe rules, DWTC compliance, US union labour, EU electrical standards) are designed in from concept, and we coordinate freight, on-site contractors and customs paperwork end to end.
Are your exhibition stands sustainable and reusable?
Every stand is engineered against a reuse-first brief: aluminium sub-frames over timber where possible, FSC-certified panels, LED-only lighting, recyclable graphics substrates and a documented storage plan. We report material re-use rate at project close so you can evidence it in ESG and Scope 3 disclosures.
